Groups and Parties
Whether it’s for a birthday party, Christmas event, family get together, stag or hen party, clay pigeon shooting offers something a little different.
Whatever the occasion, for groups of six or more I can offer a small competition layout. This must be booked in advance as score cards need to be printed and targets set.
I provide all the equipment and basic instruction is provided for those that have never shot before.
The stand layout and choice of targets will be set according to group size and experience.
I will always set targets that everyone stands a chance of hitting.
A competition will typically be run over a three stand layout. To offer some variety I can offer ‘the three gun challenge’, a different type of gun will be used on each stand, so even if you’re experienced you will get to do something a little different.
On arrival I will cover gun safety and the basic principles of firing a shotgun. For those that require it I will give further one to one instruction.
Although I provide all the equipment it’s up to you to wear sensible outdoor clothing and footwear.
A 20 shot competition costs from £30 per head or 40 shots from £45 per head. A 20 shot competition will take around 2 to 4 hours depending on the size of the group and level of coaching required. A 40 shot competition is likely to take 3 to 4 hours.
You’re welcome to bring refreshments along. For obvious reasons we do ask that you don’t drink alcohol while shooting is in progress.
You’re welcome to turn up with a raging hangover but don’t expect too much sympathy when you start shooting; you will be pleased to know that we provide ear defenders.
